About DSE Chair

What is DSE Compliance?

The UK Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 require employers to provide suitable seating for workers who regularly use computers or display screens. A DSE-compliant chair must allow the user to sit with feet flat on the floor, thighs horizontal, and lower back supported – with arms resting comfortably without shoulder strain.

Our DSE-Approved Chair Range

DSE Lumbar Support Requirements

Every chair in this collection features adjustable or built-in lumbar support that meets DSE guidelines. The lower back must be supported in its natural inward curve (lordosis) to prevent cumulative strain.

Adjustable DSE Chairs

Full height and seat tilt adjustment is mandatory for DSE compliance. All chairs here offer independent seat and back adjustment to accommodate a wide range of user heights and body types.

DSE Chairs for Home Workers

Since 2020, DSE regulations apply equally to homeworkers. If you are an employer providing equipment for home-based staff, or an individual creating a compliant home office setup, this collection is the right starting point.
